I have always loved paper products, beautiful stationery, wrapping paper, gift tags, post cards and notecards. As an experiment, I decided to see if my paintings translated into notecards and I was pleased with the result. Here are three different collections of my paintings in notecard form.
While the world has transitioned to email and texting, replacing this traditional medium of communication, I still love to send a hand written note at times.
I have been going down memory lane organizing for my next book. I have reread many of the cards and letters from family, friends, colleagues, and lovers dating back to 1968! I treasure these tactile memories of time past. I know I shall never have that feeling or experience with email.
